The Wired Network Still Matters
Every wireless access point eventually reaches a switch. That means Wi-Fi performance can also be affected by:
- switching
- PoE
- uplink capacity
- VLAN design
- firewall performance
- Internet connectivity
Excellent access points cannot compensate for an unhealthy network underneath them.
