One Technology Partner for Your Entire Environment
Most organizations end up with one company for IT support, another for phones, another for cameras, another for cybersecurity, another for cloud services, and someone else for the website. When those systems overlap, responsibility gets complicated.
Mayer Networks brings managed IT, cybersecurity, Microsoft cloud, networking, backup and disaster recovery, VoIP, physical security, branding, and infrastructure expertise under one roof so your technology works as one environment instead of a collection of disconnected vendors.
Managed IT
Mayer Networks provides ongoing managed IT services for businesses, government agencies, nonprofits, healthcare organizations and other organizations throughout Southern Illinois. Our managed IT model provides proactive technology management, 24/7/365 support, monitoring, cybersecurity, infrastructure management, Microsoft 365 administration, backup, vendor coordination, documentation, lifecycle planning and strategic guidance. There are two ways to work with Mayer Networks: Fully Managed IT or Co-Managed IT.
Learn moreCybersecurity
A firewall protects one front. Attacks arrive through endpoints, email, Microsoft 365, identities, credentials, remote access and people. Mayer Networks designs and operates a layered security standard across identify, protect, detect, respond and recover, including the recovery capability that decides the outcome once prevention has already failed.
Learn moreMicrosoft 365 & Cloud
Mayer Networks helps organizations across Southern Illinois deploy, administer, secure, support and continuously manage Microsoft 365. That includes email, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint, licensing, identity, security, migrations, governance and day-to-day support for the users who depend on it.
Learn moreNetworks & Wi-Fi
Mayer Networks designs, deploys and manages the wired and wireless networks organizations depend on: switching, routing, firewalls, segmentation, remote access and connectivity between locations.
Learn moreBackup & Data Protection
Mayer Networks protects critical business and government systems with managed backup, protected offsite copies, restore testing, and disaster-recovery options designed around how quickly the organization needs to recover. For organizations that cannot tolerate extended downtime, we can go beyond backup and design replication and failover so critical workloads stay available even when production infrastructure is not.
Learn moreBusiness Phones
Mayer Networks provides the complete business phone system as a managed service: the calling, the phones, the hosting, the licensing, the design, the installation, the training and the ongoing support, from one local company on one monthly invoice. We design the system around how your organization actually answers the phone, we manage the network the calls depend on, and you choose between the two platforms we support, 3CX and Yeastar.
Learn morePhysical Security
Mayer Networks designs and deploys commercial security camera systems, video surveillance, access control, entry, recording and the network infrastructure underneath them for businesses and government organizations throughout Southern Illinois, including multi-location video surveillance across several buildings. For new projects, UniFi is our preferred physical-security platform because cameras, access control, entry, recording and the network work together as one coordinated environment.
Learn moreBranding
Branding is a service division of Mayer Networks covering how an organization presents itself: brand development and logo design, graphic and print design, website design, search visibility, and the domain, hosting and care plans that keep the site working afterwards.
Learn moreWhat managed IT means here
Ongoing responsibility for the environment: user support, workstations and servers, patching, monitoring, identity and Microsoft 365, the network underneath it, a security baseline, backup oversight, vendor coordination and a plan for what has to be replaced next year. Not a ticket queue waiting for a call.
How managed IT works →Built for public service
Counties, municipalities, courts, sheriff's departments and election authorities operate under requirements most businesses never see. We work inside those requirements: CJIS-aligned controls, documentation for audits, procurement-ready specifications and fiscal-year sequencing.
Government technology →A capability most MSPs rent
Mayer Networks owns and operates a datacenter in Carbondale, Illinois, with redundant datacenter capability behind it. It is not what we are: we are a managed IT company. It is what lets us solve problems others have to outsource, from hosting a line-of-business application whose vendor still requires an older Windows Server, to keeping recovery capability inside the region rather than at the other end of someone else's support queue.
- Servers and applications hosted regionally, close to the engineers responsible for them
- Legacy applications isolated and hosted while a longer-term plan is worked out
- Disaster recovery that does not depend on a distant platform's ticket system
- Managed infrastructure and hosting →

What areas does Mayer Networks serve?
Mayer Networks is headquartered in Carbondale, Illinois and serves organizations throughout Southern Illinois and nearby areas of Missouri, Kentucky and Indiana.
Does Mayer Networks operate its own datacenter?
Yes. Mayer Networks owns and operates a datacenter in Carbondale, Illinois and has provided hosted services from it for more than a decade, with redundant datacenter capability used for hosting and disaster recovery.
Does Mayer Networks work with government organizations?
Yes. Municipalities, counties, courts, circuit clerks, sheriff's departments and election authorities are a core part of the practice, with attention to CJIS-aligned controls, documentation and procurement realities.
Can you host legacy applications that cannot move to modern platforms?
Often, yes. Applications tied to older Windows Server versions can frequently be hosted in an isolated, monitored environment while a longer-term plan is developed.
How do you price managed IT?
Most managed agreements are a predictable monthly fee scoped to users, devices and systems covered, so budgeting does not depend on how many problems occur that month.
