What is included when a server becomes a service
A hosted server is not simply someone else's hardware. Hypervisor patching, host firmware, storage health, network capacity, backup, monitoring and capacity headroom are ours; the operating system, applications and data remain the organization's, with the option for us to manage those too under a managed agreement.
That boundary matters when something goes wrong at 2am, so it is written down rather than assumed. Resources are adjusted as workloads change instead of requiring a hardware purchase, and Microsoft licensing for eligible hosted Windows and SQL workloads is reported monthly through our SPLA participation.

Can we keep our current server names and configuration?
In most migrations, yes. Keeping names and paths consistent reduces disruption to applications and users.
How is storage backed up?
Image-level backup with retention defined by the organization, plus offsite or replicated copies for recovery.
Can we add resources later?
Yes. Adding CPU, memory or storage does not require purchasing hardware.
What about Linux workloads?
Linux servers are supported alongside Windows.
